This year Lollibop Festival increased its participation area, and they asked Joule to programme activities for under-10s to take part in and enjoy. Joule teamed up with Southbank Centre and programed music, dance, story telling, arts and crafts, poetry, den making, pirate school, bingo, hula hooping, dressing up and more to the event for 30,000 people across 3 days.
As both project managers as well as programmers, we worked with lots of companies including Charity Shop DJ, Home Live Art, Crafternoon Cabaret, The City of London Sinfonia and Incredible Eggs.
The Festival is known to be the biggest Children’s Festival in the UK and features many children’s favourites such as CBeebies stars, Scooby Doo and Thomas the Tank Engine. Join In with Southbank Centre allowed the children to play, create, learn and have fun to ensure they had a brilliant day out.
