Southbank’s Centre annual Winter Festival included Intrude by Amanda Parer. Intrude was commissioned to come to London from Australia’s light festival Vivid Sydney. The installation consisted of five 7m high inflatable illuminated white rabbits located in and around the Southbank Centre. The project also featuring a specially composed soundscape, available for live streamimg, Intrude was enjoyed by many thousands of people.
Joule was asked to project manage the installation from the point the project was confirmed to the point it was packed away and left the UK.
Joule also oversaw the install and de-install of an 8m Christmas tree working with NatWest (the sponsors) and McMillan Trust (the charity), and assisted with aspects of various other Festival projects
Joule also again project managed the highly successful sell out Vintage New Year’s Eve Party which was undoubtedly the biggest single event of the Festival.
